A lap of Gold Coast MX Senior Track

The track is between Palmerston Nth and Foxton. There is a Senior and a Mini track here. The base is an amazing beach-type-sand making the track a natural sand track! There is a nice flow to the senior track. But don't let that fool you as the sand can get deep in places and will punish you quickly. Just a few smallish table tops (the finish line one is the biggest) and no major jumps.

The track is next to the Wanganui Airport with a nice view out over the water. A sand/dirt mix track. When wet it gets slippery and muddy, when dry can be dusty. Tight corners, a selection of jumps and a step-up that, once you deicde to do it, is very cool.

Taupo MCC track next to the bypass. A all-weather sand track that normally does not have any cancellations. The sand can at times get a little loose and there is always some ruts and bumps developing. Has some big jumps and many technical sections. The organisers change the layout on regular basis to make it interesting.

Hawke's Bay MCC MX track outside Hastings. (There is also a dedicated Mini Track here) This track can be hard and dusty or wet and soggy, or anything inbetween. Back section has a few different ways it can be setup to make it interesting. It is a fast track with some big jumps and requires ability to read the track.

"Shortys" Track. in Wairoa. Vinny has raced here in 2013 and likes this track. More jumps and other work has been done here for this year. The track is on private land and one of the most used ones by the Wairoa MCC.

First time for Vinny at the very cool Mangapoike Track in Wairoa! There is also the double that jumps over the entrance road, but the setup when we were there made the double the slower option (Vinny had a go...). The promise is that this will be corrected by next time! One of five MX tracks Wairoa MCC has to use!

Maddix park is a practice facility in Tauranga. Just rock up, pay the fee and ride as much as you like. They also have a XC track, but we have only used their Senior MX track.
A lap of Kapi Mana MCC MX track at Bulls Run Road in Upper Hutt Wellington.

Kapi Mana MCC MX track. A cool track that zig-zags through the forest and then has a big drop down to the finish. Some rocks but very rideable for riders of all abilities.
