Please read before using the calendar:
We will here provide all the, by us, currently known NZ MX meetings as pdf files (see above). The files will be updated twice weekly (or more often when necessary)
Once you have opened the pdf Calendar it depends on how you have set up your browser in what way you can follow the links:
The three most common ways are:
- Just click on the link and a new window will open.
- Double click on the link, right click, select "Go to..."
- Highlight the link. Right click. Select "Open link"
All the known MX race meetings in NZ as at this date have been included, we have also included NOT CONFIRMED race meetings that we expect to be held.
All clubs also hold practice days. The ones that we have easily found listed are included here. In all other cases please contact the clubs individually and/or look at their web/fb pages.
Some clubs have their track open every day for practice (Thames MCC, Black Hill MX Club, South Waikato MCC, Wairoa MCC, Manawatu-Orion MCC, Marlborough MCC, Hanmer Springs DBC, Central Otago MCC, Southland MCC to name a few). To use the track you need to be a member and have purchased a key. At a few you can pay for a Day Key. Click on "Training Tracks" at the top to find out more.
If you are looking for a day or two of riding then please click on the "Training Tracks" tag for all the parks we know of where you can rock up with your bike, pay a small fee and ride as much as you like, or click here
Apart from all the "standard" meetings we have also included (and colour coded):
- Known and scheduled MX coaching that goes on in NZ.
- Race Meetings that have a separate Ladies/Junior Ladies class.
- All known Championships
- Practice days we know about
- School Championships
- Classic MX/Vet MX
- Oval track Flat Track Racing (as this can be done with a MX bike, just disconnect front brake and fit a different rear tyre and you are all go!!)
- Meetings that require MNZ License
Please come back and stay updated so you don't miss out on riding!
NOTE: We have taken all possible care to ensure that the information we provide on this page is correct and up-to-date. But at no time can we be held responsible for wrong information and ultimately it is your responsibility to make sure that the race meeting you are planning to attend is happening. We therefore recommend that you update your self using the clubs web or fb sites. To make sure that the meeting has not been cancelled at last minute please also check their phone update message. (To make this easier you find a link next to each event)
